Crypt Raider (2023)

Personal Project

Crypt Raider is a small prototype for a first-person puzzle game made in Unreal Engine 5. My first approach to using Unreal Engine 5, trying to figure out its tools and similarities with Unreal Engine 4.

  • Used Blueprints, C++, Lumen

  • Designed and built multi-layered dungeon filled with hidden passages and secrets.

  • Created flexible system of doors and locks – each door can be influenced by a certain set of locks.

  • Locks and doors can then be implemented in different ways (rotating doors or vertically moving doors / locks as rotating torches or stands that must have a statue on).
